Shelbyville Woman, Texas Man Charged With Human Trafficking
SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. - A mid-state woman and a Texas man were arrested after authorities said they tried to sell a 19-year-old girl for sex.
Ivory Charles Pantallion III, age 33, from Beaumont, Texas, and Jessica Lynne Morgan, age 24, from Shelbyville, were arrested at a Louisiana motel.
Authorities said they held the teen, who had been reported missing in Huntsville, Alabama, against her will and made a website advertising her as an escort.
The victim was able to call her family, who notified police. She was found and returned to her family unharmed.
Pantallion and Morgan were charged with human trafficking and simple kidnapping. Pantallion was held on $1 million bond, while Morgan was held on $500,000 bond.
