News Channel 9: Man accused of forcing woman to work as prostitute

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — Chattanooga Police arrest a man they say forced a woman to work as a prostitute.

Police arrested Learoy Williams at a hotel on Shallowford road Saturday.

Police claim the alleged victim told officers she was being "pimped out" by Williams.

She also says Williams arranged for her to work in multiple states and would keep the money for himself.

Investigators say the woman had bruises on her neck and ear she claims she received from Williams after he allegedly attacked her when she asked to leave the hotel room.

Learoy Williams is in the Hamilton County jail on a $150,000 bond. He is charged with trafficking for a commercial sex act.
