Florida man accused of pimping 17- year-old girl

A Florida man was arrested in Nashville and accused of pimping a 17-year-old to an undercover police officer. Police say Jeffery L. Dale, 27, drove the girl to  the Hickerson Motel on Nolensville Pike to have sex.

According to an arrest warrant, the undercover officer responded to a Backpage.com post during a prostitution sting.

Police said Dale rented a room for the undercover of f icer and the girl. Following the sting, the teenager admitted she is only 17.

Dale is charged with promoting prostitution, sex trafficking and rape.
