Local Memphis: Memphis Man Accused Of Sex Trafficking
MEMPHIS, TN - A man is behind bars tonight accused of rape and sex trafficking.
According to Memphis police, 28-year-old Nicholas Webster told his victim she was "going to make him some money."
He forced her to stay in a bedroom where an unknown man raped her. Officers say the man stopped because the victim could not stop crying. Webster then entered the room and asked the victim if she had received her money. When she responded "no" he hit her in the face, pulled her hair, and slammed her against an air conditioner.
Webster is currently in jail on a $100,000 bond. He is charged with Rape and Trafficking for Commercial Sex Act.
