What Is 13?

13 is the age of first crushes, braces, sports team try-outs, and first school dances. At 13, children are entering the new world of middle school, attending sleepovers and roller skating on Friday night.

Unfortunately for some, 13 is the average age of entry into human trafficking right here in our own state. In the state of Tennessee, 94 teens a month are deceived, tormented and sold, usually for sex. With your support, we can help end human trafficking through training community members, prevention programs for at-risk youth, and aftercare for survivors of this horrific crime.
