What Can YOU Do To Keep Children Safe?​​​​​​​

The best resource for keeping a child safe is YOU, the adults in a child’s life.  Children lack the life experience to recognize exploitation and exploiters are master manipulators who spot and utilize a child’s longings, perhaps for a father figure or someone who makes them feel special and heard.

Here are some excellent resources for you, who are the BEST resource, to use to keep the children in your life safe.

1.    Watch this short video interview summarizing some key points for keeping your child from becoming the next Amber Alert. 
 

2.    Utilize the excellent resources produced by the Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) on their Kid Smartz site. You’ll find parent tips, scenarios to practice with children, stats, a ‘going out checklist, videos , educational resources and more.
 

3.     Know the red flags.
