A Stolen Life: A Memoir, Author: Jaycee Dugard

This is a harrowing memoir of Jaycee Dugard, who was eleven years-old when she was kidnapped. Forced to have sex with her captor, Jaycee lived in this horrific nightmare for 18 years, giving birth to two children during her captivity. 

For eighteen years Jaycee was not allowed to say her name and used the name her kidnapper gave her. After being discovered on August 26, 2009 she took her name back and reunited with her family within days.
